Flashback have been around for about 30 years. Thats a long time in any ones language, and we have been playing the best Rock 'n' Roll and swing style music for most of that time.

While the band has had it's share of line up changes over the years, we have always strived to provide our fans and general public with an entertaining and wide variety of music.

In 2005 we released our first LIVE album ONE NIGHT WITH YOU, Flashback Live @ The Waltzing Matilda. This album was dedicated to our fans and it showcased the band in a number of differing styles, proving the band to very versatile.

       The current line up consists of....................

        

	Danny Boyd:  Lead Vocals & Guitar Danny has been lead singer of Flashback for the past 30 years. His vocal style is definably "rock n roll", covering classics from Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly and Bill Haley, just to name a few, however he also has the ability to cover more that just RnR. His vocal range enables him to even cover the late great Al- Jolson. He has and continues to be one of the best and well known vocalists on the Melbourne "RnR" scene today.
	John Obee: Lead Guitar & Vocals Originally from england John has a long history of playing British based music and traditional American based RnR. He has played in many bands around Melbourne including the well known Franky and the Highlighters. He joined Flashback around 4 years ago and has become a real asset to the band being well versed in both rhythm and lead guitar. John also lends his  talents on backing and the occasional lead vocal....
	Leon Etygold:  Keyboards Leon has been Flashbacks keyboard player for around 15 years. A virtuoso on piano He has played  many  varied forms of music. He is responsible for all of Flashbacks musical arrangements when it comes to floor shows, and is often heard playing complex melody and harmony lines within the music. He also plays harmonica and squeeze box.
	Rick Lethbridge: Drums & percussion
	Ian Williams:  Electric Bass & Vocals Ian brings a wealth of experience to the group. Originally a teenage drummer he moved onto bass and has played a range of styles and lead his own bands. He has appeared on television, records, radio and backed numerous local and international artists across Australia. Ian's ability and enjoyment in playing is obvious to all and his contribution to the group as part of a top notch rhythm section is a key part of the drive and feel of Flashback whether you are a dancer or a listener.

The band plays mostly music from the glory days of the 50's & 60's, but also plays music from the english mersey beat sound and even as far back as Al Jolson.
